Do you fancy doing something fun, different and totally outrageous?
Have you got a posh frock that you never really liked, a wedding dress that has fulfulled its intended purpose or perhaps a prom dress that no longer really suits you?
What's the best thing to do with it? Chuck it, sell it?
Why don't you do a photoshoot where you ......
TRASH THE DRESS !
Trash the dress, also known as fearless bridal or rock the frock, is a style of fashion photography that
contrasts elegant clothing with an environment in which it is out of place. Originally the concept was designed for newly married brides who decided to have pictures taken on a beach, but other locations include city streets, rooftops, garbage dumps, fields, and abandoned buildings. In extreme cases the model often wears a ball gown, prom dress or wedding dress, and may effectively ruin the dress in the process by getting it wet, dirty or in extreme circumstances tearing or destroying the garment.
If you don't fancy trashing your dress, why don't you trash one of mine? Included in the price of a shoot is the opportunity to wear one of our clean, dry, beautifully prepared wedding dresses, cocktail dresses, uniforms, you name it....and get it wet and messy!
I have several safe and local locatons for Trash the Dress, including a couple of shallow lakes and ponds. Scapyards and railway locations including engine sheds are available at a small additional charge. Slapstick shoots where water and paint gets flung over you and your nice outfit can be staged in my home studio too.
Like all my photoshoots, I encourage everyone to have fun and be comfortable. You are very welcome to bring anyone along with you to the shoot.
